Monarchs and Milkweed

I found a Monarch butterfly flying around the milkweed in my garden. I’m hoping it will lay some eggs and we might have some caterpillars. I’m wondering how much those caterpillars will eat…

No eggs yet, but I will definitely post pictures if we are lucky enough to get some eggs and caterpillars…
