Many of you are teaching your children at home right now, and I know you are looking for ideas. There are lots of math resources out there – math games, puzzles, worksheets. You can also teach lots of great math skills by cooking in the kitchen, working in the garden, playing games. MATH IS EVERYWHERE…

I have so much fun creating these little videos for my blog and I know your kids would enjoy it, too. It would be fun to have your child think of a math problem and create a video about it. They could share the videos with their friends and solve each other’s problems. Kids are so creative – I have no doubt the videos they make will be way more impressive than mine! Maybe you could share the math problems with me, and I could post them for other students to solve.
